Bob and Lori Warmington,
Aspen Grove Conveners

Robert (Bob) P. Warmington
Bob Warmington is a third generation Southern California developer.  He continues the legacy begun by his grandfather to work for the betterment of the community. Consistent with family tradition, Bob established Warmington Land Company, Inc. and predecessor companies to develop premier property in the Southern California area. These companies have been responsible for the planning, acquisition, and entitlement of over 110 projects in California, Colorado, and Arizona. Projects include: commercial and industrial land development; construction and leasing of retail shopping centers; design and construction of hotels; construction and sales of homes, townhomes, and apartments; and the entitlement of over 9,000 acres of land yielding 15,225 lots for residential and master planned communities.

The Warmington family has been associated with the development of distinctive real estate projects since 1926. Like his father and grandfather before him these projects have always demonstrated great regard for the environment and the community. The values of responsibility, and accountability to the communities in which he builds have been the basis for his past thirty years in real estate. Integrity, strong professionalism, as well deep concern for the people and the environment that each project involves has been the basis of his personal philosophy for his life’s work. Bob and Lori have partnered in many projects, community involvement, and the direction of each of their life’s work. They have three children and three grandchildren.    Robert grew up in Los Angeles and Newport Beach, California and attended the University of Southern California where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is a co-founder with Lori of the Aspen Grove Project and lives with Lori in Newport Beach and Aspen.

Loring (Lori) P. Warmington
Lori Warmington has been a creative partner in the many projects that have been built together over the past thirty years.  Her interest has always been in the area of addressing social needs that can be addressed through the deep values of social responsibility, spiritual insight, and demonstrated actions. As these real estate projects grew into master planned communities there were child care centers, open green areas, community colleges, elementary, middle, and high schools, and habitat preservation for California’s endangered ecosystems to be developed. Additionally, a trip to the Soviet Union early in their marriage provided a spark that has become a life direction shared by both Lori and Bob.

The interest in citizen peace building based on developing trusting relationships and connections between people that create tolerance and understanding was expressed in their creation of an endowed chair through the University of California, Irvine. The chair was established in global Peace and Cooperation in their children’s name, representing the children of the world. Peace building efforts have been expressed in computer exchange projects with schools to help build cultural understanding with software provided by National Geographic. There have been youth exchanges with the Former Soviet Union, as well as adult exchanges with peace builders from many war zones around the world.

Lori’s interest and direction focusing on community, both local to global, has combined with a lifetime of seeking inner spiritual direction and has become the Aspen Grove Project. This project is based on the understanding that spirituality is a commitment to a life of depth and compassion that connects us to a larger whole. The essence of the Aspen Grove Project is a conviction that there is a unity that underlies the diversity in the human family, nations and religions. This unity is the connection to the Source that sustains and creates life. The work of the Aspen Grove is to nurture and connect the many facets that bring individuals together and express integral actions that build an emerging paradigm for future generations. Lori grew up in Southern California and attended the University of Southern California where she received a Bachelor of Science in Education with a double major in history and English.
